App for Instagram - InstaFeed App Reviews

The app is great and has good potential, wish it could upload. Seems like no app can upload because of Instagram… :( But recommended to anybody interested in Instagram!

Doesn’t work and no tools to fix it in preferences. Don’t waste your money.

There is no infintite scroll in the application. No option, no buttons to turn it on, it’s never mentioned. You get 40 pictures per search and that’s it. Want more? Do another search and hope the same ones don’t come back up. Either the app is broke or the developers mislead with the description. I tried to contact the developer but the contact part of their website just has a box to leave your email address. Looks pretty shady to me. If the app is corrected or fixed and the features are there, I’ll change my review.

Having to log in each time you use this app is a pain.

Don’t waste your money folks. This app is getting worse. Not sure if it’s due to changes in the API, but It constantly logs you out. If you search for a user’s account, you can’t click the search results to view them — I have to open a seperate browser window, log in, then go there. So why am I even using this? The ONLY thing this app does well is download pics. That’s it. Use the developer tools in your web browser for that, and you can forget about this app completely. If API changes made this app obsolete, you need to fix it or pull it from the store. It’s a joke. Loved it at first. It seemed to work well for a minute, but it just isn’t worth the hassle anymore. It’s unfortunate you got my $4.99.

I tried this app after it was reviewed on CultofMac. It is, as advertised, the fastest way to use Instagram, far superior, and a far more enjoyable experience to the website in a web browser. The reason it is so fast and enjoyable is the interface. Instead of scrolling from one pic to the next, you see a full page of images, larger than a thumbnail, but small enough to survey quickly. My feed is small, but I can scan the images, like a few, and move on to something else within seconds. As a busy parent, that is important to me, because “quickly” is the only way I can participate in much social media. So, thanks to the developers for this. The app doesn’t get a full 5 stars, because it often forgets my username and password, requiring me to login again. That, and a few other minor quibbles prevent it from being “perfect.” In my mind, only the very best apps are a perfect 5 stars. It is very good, and I do recommend it. If you use Instagram on your Mac at all, it is easily worth the $5 price. Put it in perspective: it will cost you ten times that much to fill up with gas. Just get it. It’s a good one.

i emailed support to tell them about the login issue a couple weeks ago and they responded promptly. thanks for fixing it in this update! the saved hashtags and users are the most conveneint. let’s you follow a ton of users without actually following them on your account. the custom feed of #hastags makes it easy to follow your favorites hashtags too. I’ll update more if i find anything else, but looks good. thank you!

more convenient than the instagram website… lets you save hashtags and favorite users for easy browsing. good stuff :D

Perfect Instagram app. It seemed as if its by the Instagram folks. But I was surprised to learn that it wasnt. Anyway it’s pretty darn good. Thumbs up.

I can never open my computer and have the app open seamlessly! The app is always “timed out” thus prompting me to simply shut it down out of frustration. When I am able to see/use InstaFeed, it is a neat concept. Hope to see a more stable app in the future.

When you like the pictures in the app it doesn’t like them on instagram. The only point of the like button in this app is so it can add them to a “like” folder so you can view all the photos you like later. However, if you are liking friends photos on here, they will have no idea of your appreciation.

I have to tell u, this app is good. I like it. It gets somewhat to the point. But, it is LACKING. On my Ipad I have an app called PADAGRAM which I also have on my Cellphone. Well with Padagram I am able to SWITCH IN BETWEEN DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS with EASE but with this app I have to LOGOUT and then LOG IN to my other account. As well WHERE ARE THE EMOJI’S? And another thing as with the App that I mentioned earlier I can move from ONE PIC TO THE NEXT WITH EASE, but with this app I have to click the X to exit out of the pic and then click on another pic just to view it. But with PADAGRAM all I have to do is click the arrow or slide to the next picture. And another thing, when clicking on a persons name to view their profile where is the profile box? On instagram and even on the app PADAGRAM when going to a persons instagram profile each person has a bio on their profile describing who they are and what they do and how to contact them but with this app here, u go to the persons page and there is nothing but pictures, the BIO SECTION is NOT THERE! WHY’S THAT? So, though it is that this app allows us to view Instagram pics it can do A LOT OF FIXING when it comes to its LACK OF! I mean NO EMOJI’S? NO BIO? NOT BEING ABLE TO SWIPE FROM ONE PIC TO THE NEXT? ……..LACKING!!!

This app is a COMPLETE waste of money. DO NOT BUY IT (you have been warned)!!!! I downloaded this app to my Macbook Air and everytime I try to log into it, it crashes. I havent had the opportunity to use this app one time because everytime I try….crash. What’s worse is, I tried contacting support and their support link just leads me to the bottom of their home page telling me to enter my email address to “join the party”. Basically a mailing list. I had to contact Apple to request a refund. THIS APP IS GARBAGE AND A COMPLETE RIPOFF!!!!

This is a fine instagram client with most options the average user might want, however it would be great if we could see the bio information of a user presented instead of hidden.

Loaded up, but after signing in, it quits. NOT WORTH IT!

Just purchased. Crashes everytime I log in. How do I get my money back for this? *running yosemite on the newest macbook pro 13

It may display multiple images on the page, but the process of liking them is plain AWFUL…and slow and annoying when you click on a like, it opens a new window that you must then close to get back to the matrix. What we really need is Padgram for mac not this micky mouse setup
